Evaluation Question 3-What kind of media institution might distribute your media product and why?

Our Film will be exhibited in cinema, which will then lead to DVD release. It will be released during the January period as we don’t want it to go against big blockbuster films and because of it being a low-budget film.

We want to stream it onto online sites such as Netflix and any other popular film streaming websites also because of the same reason it being a low budget film. We don’t feel that we would get a world-wide release.

It will be released in January as it will be advertised in cinema.

We would like 20^th Century Fox to distribute our film as it has distributed many which are very much similar to our Film. The elements in our film are what are very much involved in many of the other popular films distributed by 20^th Century Fox.

For example in the film “Die Hard 4.0” the social groups that are re-presented in it are exactly the same as the ones represented in our film.

An example of a social group represented in our film that is the same in “Die Hard 4.0” is the hacker group. 

There is a hacker in the “Die Hard 4.0” film and there is also one in our film. This is one of the hackers from Die Hard 4.0 as you can see he isn't wearing a tie, but however he is wearing a shirt as you can see on the top half of his body. This matches the dress sense of an actual Hacker.

There can also be some merchandising products made from this film such as t-shirts, here is an example.

This is a t-shirt and has the quote from the film printed onto it, in massive text size and great font and style to make it stand out. We would maybe do a t-shirt for a film as t-shirts would be suitable for our target audience.

 Our production of our film is called Limelight, we have created a production company ident for this which is approximately five seconds at the start of our film.
